Our story

It started with
a borrowed bucket.

Little Inlet is an invented community group for a stretch of coast called Alder Cove. In its story, six neighbours met after a winter storm, filled a few sacks, and came back the next Saturday.

The idea is simple: regular, careful attention makes a place feel cared for. The work pairs shoreline clean-ups with native planting and patient observation.

What a morning looks like

Meet at the welcome table, borrow gloves and a picker, and choose a short route. We sort litter, log what we find, and leave wildlife and natural materials undisturbed. Then there’s tea.
